One of the most iconic Loki stories was the Vote Loki comics where the god of mischief run for president. So iconic parts were adapted in the 2021 Disney+ series Loki. After reading the comic and then watching the show and style gave me the idea to create a campaign poster.
After watching the show I was introduced to the TVA (Time Variance Authority) which had a unique style in how they dress and their equipment which gave of a 1950’s era style. This was inspiration for finding the style using colors of yellow a brown and leaning heavily on the American flag backdrop which helped to showcase the more sinister side of Loki through his shadow.
Fonts also played heavily in the pieces as the logo is created through multiple fonts so is the posters call to action. I created the line of “He’d vote for you…in another multiverse” based of the characters actions and the introduction of the multiverse in the show.
