Embrace Home Loans: Labor Day Ads

Every month the Hauppauge branch of Embrace Home Loans has a promotional ad with American Lifestyle Magazine. This ad will usually talk about the services Embrace offers, or an opportunity to build awareness around the brand.

For this monthly I was tasked with developing a few Labor Day themed ads that paid tribute to our workers. Working with a copywriter I wanted to develop an unusual visual similar to 90’s style magazine ad. This led me to having an idea of using a house key’s teeth as part of the tools a laborer would use, like a hammer or screwdriver.

I provided two different options. The first option just featured a hammer and nails with the handle as the key’s teeth and the other encompassing all workers. The second option I wanted to focus on diversity mainly including people of different race and background supporting each other. What also aided the ad in standing out was the amount of white space which made the photoshopped objects serve as a focal point.
