Following the success of the LGBTQ Reality Star podcast listeners were clamoring for more. It was decided for the next panel to focus on African American Women reality contestants with project owner J’Tia Hart taking part in the panel. Because these panelists came from many different walks of life it was decided the beach theme for previous one would be scrapped and a new one implemented.
I wanted to focus on royalty especially after heading the title of the podcast, Black is Queen. This lead me to include more script styled fonts and corner embroidery to give it a tone similar to receiving an invitation to fancy party. I also wanted to tone down the colors. While the last panels had many colors I felt it could also get overwhelming to the viewer so I instead opted for a black, white and gold color scheme. The black background I found really emphasized the theme but also allowed the headshots of the panelists and font stand out.
