I was never really a fan of country music until one faithful weekend. After hearing the single “All Over the Road” by Easton Corbin I was instantly hooked. To commemorate the new found interest I decided to document it by creating a mock promotional music poster dedicated to Easton Corbin. When going into this project I wanted to accomplish a few goals such as experimenting with typography, capturing a western theme and incorporating a rough shape design. While working on the poster I incorporated five different fonts sticking to a red, blue, and black color scheme. I chose this color scheme because the more patriotic color connected well with the western theme.
To make it more “rough” I created a desert background in Photoshop to generate a look that was looked lonely and baron. Lastly I included a small hidden connection in the background of a roadway with the lines out of order to relate back to his song “All Over the Road.” For this project I wanted to work with multiple fonts and connecting multiple themes in one project and I feel as though the result wasn’t “All Over the Road.”
