When I began working for Embrace Home Loans one of the first jobs I received was create an infographic for one of the companies exclusive programs called Approved to MoveTM. For this infographic I had to detail each step of the home loan approval process. To do this I incorporated a simplistic line designs and single colors.
Once the project was completed I thought how I could make it more appealing. The infographic was visually appealing but the information wasn’t sticking with the consumers. I thought a video to display the information would keep the viewer engaged. Working on my own I developed a video to explain the process.
Once completed I presented the final video to my managers who were very impressed and then began to build a marketing campaign around the video. For this campaign social media, emails and another video geared toward REALTORS would need to be developed. Working with the creative director we chose to switch up the style and use photographic images for our emails as we were hearing in feedback people were relating more to the photograph images. This helped shake up the theme instead of being all illustrations into more eye-catching and engaging emails.
